To heat up the upcoming winter season, Ultraviolette Automotive has dropped a pretty enticing teaser on its social media. Yep, you can feel the temperatures rise up as you see what looks like the Ultraviolette F77, reaching 197kmph on the top speed run.
Let’s break it down: the standard Ultraviolette F77 has a claimed top speed of 147kmph, which is 50kmph lesser than what’s shown in the video. And earlier in 2023, Ultraviolette had showcased a race concept called the F99 which had a claimed top speed of 200kmph+.
Now let’s circle back to which bike is in the teaser. We believe that it is in fact the Ultraviolette F77. However, it features components borrowed from the F99. So ultimately, we have an electric bike from UV that reaches about 200kmph and flaunts a pretty sporty fairing as well.
Lastly, Ultraviolette is all set to showcase its electric motorcycles at the International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition (EICMA 2023). This teaser, and the race-spec F77, could be Ultraviolette’s attempt to showcase its performance capabilities at an international forum.
