Tata Harrier EV Review | Techy, Comfy, Quick But Some Compromises

After revealing the Harrier EV’s entry-level pricing and flexing its capabilities, Tata has finally revealed its price range. However, these prices are only for the RWD variants, and Tata will be revealing the AWD variant’s pricing on June 27, 2025. It is important to note that official bookings for the trending SUV open from July 2, 2025.
So, without further ado, let’s quickly take a look at the prices of the Harrier EV in its RWD configuration:

As seen in the table above, the Harrier EV’s RWD variants range from Rs 21.49 lakh to Rs 27.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with both 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options, and the good thing is that Tata is also offering the larger battery pack with the mid-spec Fearless+ variant.

The Harrier EV is an SUV that has taken the internet by storm, and its capabilities are definitely praiseworthy. It is positioned as Tata’s flagship SUV, above the Curvv EV. It takes styling cues from the regular Harrier, but EV-specific design bits help it stand out from its sibling.

The Harrier EV comes with features like a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, powered and ventilated front seats, a dual-zone climate control, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, boss mode, connected car tech, eIRVM, multi-colour ambient lighting, a digital key, and a 10-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer.
Safety features include 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability control (ESC), electronic parking brake with auto hold, both front and rear parking sensors, auto-park assist, a summon mode, a 540-degree camera and a Level 2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

The Harrier EV comes with two battery packs - a 65 kWh and a 75 kWh battery pack. The rear motor in the RWD version generates 238 PS, while in the all-wheel drive, the front and rear motors make 158 PS and 238 PS, respectively. The AWD version makes up to 504 Nm.

The Harrier EV’s 75 kWh battery pack offers a claimed range of up to 627 km (MIDC P1+P2). For more details about the Harrier EV, check out this story.
The BYD Atto 3 and Mahindra XEV 9e are the Harrier EV’s only two rivals currently. The Harrier EV is definitely one of the better packaged SUVs around, and with the introductory prices, it is worth considering if you are in the market looking for a capable electric SUV.
