Hero Vida Electric Scooter Officially Teased Ahead Of Launch

More than a year has passed by in anticipation of the Hero Vida electric scooter since its first announcement in August 2021. And now, Hero MotoCorp has finally released an official teaser of the e-scooter which is slated to launch on October 7.

The e-scooter’s debut has been delayed a couple of times this year. But with this teaser, the final launch seems to be cemented. That said, the teased silhouette doesn’t resemble what we have known the Vida e-scooter to be, and in fact it looks similar to the Gogoro e-scooters. Having said that, the silhouette could also just be for illustration purposes.

In terms of appearance, the upcoming e-scooter flaunts a fresh, minimalistic design language and is quite a departure from Hero’s existing ICE lineup.

The specifications of the e-scooter are still under wraps. However, we do know that it will be the first electric product by Hero under the Vida sub-brand.  Oh, and it might get Gogoro’s battery-swapping technology.

Interestingly, a Hero scooter was recently spied on the roads under camouflage and it looks quite identical to the Vida e-scooter. Check it out here.

Expect the Hero Vida electric scooter to come bearing a price tag of around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up against the likes of Bajaj Chetak, and TVS iQube Electric.
