Ducati Panigale V2 Latest Updates
Ducati launched the Panigale V2 in India in 2020 and is the entry-level sportbike in Ducati's stable, replacing the old 959 Panigale. The bike was first revealed days before EICMA 2019. It gets styling inspired from the Panigale V4 and the Ducati Red colour option is priced at Rs 20.68 lakh. The Italian manufacturer has just launched the ‘Black On Black’ colour option at Rs 20.98 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).
The supersport is powered by a 955cc ‘L-twin’ BS6-compliant engine that pumps out 155PS at 10,750rpm and 104Nm at 9000rpm. Electronic goodies on the Panigale V2 consist of a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), cornering ABS, multi-level traction control, wheelie control, bi-directional quickshifter and engine brake control and a 4.3-inch TFT instrument console. The 955cc supersport is priced similarly to the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and the BMW S1000RR, but those bikes are powered by in-line, four-cylinder engines and produce much bigger power outputs.
