Well folks, Here i am writing my first review of 8 months of ownership of xuv700 ax7l at(p), Been a while since i've been contemplating on sharing my thoughts as the whole world was going gung-ho about it, I thought let the dust settle down and then cook up a storm! honestly i've had my shares of challenges with the mahindra setup however so far the journey has been contented.I've done about 6000kms, Yes that's injustice, But then of those its a 50-50 highway+hills/city experience, As have another celerio zxi amt at my disposal to run the daily chores.To start of with the purchase experience, Guess i was one of the lucky ones to get my hands on the first few units dispatched as i managed to get a booking in slot on day 1 of "kaun banega xuv700 owner contest".Cheesy right, But butter smooth is what i can say about the ride quality of the xuv700, The interiors are really plush, With ample underthigh support while driving, Despite being an average 6 footer myself.Had done a few highway runs on nh1 and nh8 with a lone drive to hills beyond corbett and honestly there has been little i could complain of during my ownership tenure so far, Yes the mileage is a bit pinch that comes with the rising fuel prices, But i guess with 2l turbo 200bhp monster that is the least you can expect but overall its a pleasing feel! the cabin is airy and gives super view of sorroundings, With panoramic roof one couldn't ask for more, All in all the look, Feel and comfort are all 5 stars for me.Now coming to the niggles:- 1.A strange sound was observed in the steering, Which was rectified after a part change in the steering column which was creating this issue 2.Car started to stop automatically, Reason told was bad fuel quality, And since the design of the fuel tank was such that it had a dual level filtration it was causing the issue, The result was again rectification of the fuel tank by replacement.3.The suspension sound is something which is having its own free mind, It comes at its own will and goes away, Still not able to troubleshoot that though, Hopefully this all will be taken care off as well.4.Apple car play is still not there.I'm contented as till date all niggles replacements haven't been charged to me, And has been taken care off in warranty, However my pain lies in the fact that after paying through your nose for a premium marketed product after rigororus trials spanning over for 4 years why cant mahindra come up with a product which had no niggles whatsoever.Alas! that's the pain we indians feel despite having the zeal to go for made in india automobile.Mahindra is trying to treat this product in premium category and taking care of such issues reported on priority, However i still think that they are themselves found running after their tails for such issues.Look forward to some more expert support from mahindra to crease out these problems once and for all.Mileage: 7-8kmpl in cityand 10-12kmpl on highways(depends how you floor the gas pedal.

Firstly the ertiga is our first car so it is a very wonderful experience owning it we have a blue colour bs4 diesel engine manual transmission, Zdi+ model.The car gives you a very wonderful experience if you are a normal driver, The comfort is good you can take it for long rides with your family or friends our car has a mileage of about 21-23 kmpl the pickup is decent for a mpv the build quality is average as it is suzuki, There is a bit of vibration but not so much that it will be uncomfortable.There are not many high-fi features but still you will not feel any discomfort.The after sale service is also good but not best.

Enough space, Smooth driving, Service cost a bit high.Good mileage upto18 19 km/hrs.

parts inside are making noise even on normal roads with less tini podholes. Comfort level is worst as the cabin is too noisy. can't figure out the reason for noise and discomfort.

It is good 7 seater family car in below 15 lakhs with automatic features

Since i own ertiga 2021 model and driven ertiga so i will provide you the honest opinion.(1).Looking at the 1st impression car looks very good from outside as it is a 7 seater car in 10lakh rs on road price so car is long and 3 rows are available.When you fold last row you will get a lot of bootspace.(2).The engine refinement is excellent so you could easily get around 16-17 kmpl mileage.Picup of the car is also decent, Even on high speeds you don't feel vibrations.Car control is also excellent.(3).As far as interior is concerned it is pretty okay since plastic quality not feels premium.And other things like features are good in this segment.I.E music system is quite good.You will got big display screen, 2 airbag, Ac on front and rear seat also, Charging port for rear seats.Front seats and rear seats can be reclined.Now i will talk about the after sales service of this car, As maruti cars is known for good after sales service they will assist you in better way since 2 years oglf my purchase i have never any complaint about servicing.Even after i met a minor accident my rear side gate got damaged and instead of repairing they replaced it with new one.Now in short i will convey you the best and worst thing in this car:-pros-1).Good mileage and pickup2).7 seater car in this price segment.3).Better after sales service4) great featurescons-1).3 star rating car2).Problem in going to 3rd row.3).Plastic quality doesn't look premium4).Halogen headlight.

We have ertiga vxi cng variant which value for money variant from all models.I wouldn't say about price as it differs from state to state and emi.In driving experience you will not disappoint if you are not a heavy like driver who wants too much power but if you are using car for passengers(7-8) are seating so it's not that much power, In comfort it's good like seating comfort, Handling, Braking.One thing i will suggest that if you are buying car for passengers 7-8 so you would look at tourist model or top model for more space, Major problem in seating 8 passengers is at last seats as cup holders take too much space if they were absent so it makes easy to sit 2-3/4-3(8/9) passengers but you can't blame company as they gave it for 7 seaters otherwise you will not unsatisfy with this car.About mileage which is major thing i will say that you can trave approx 80-90km in 350rs approx as we filled tank in rewari of 300 something(fuel warning came before 8km) then car reaches rk puram, It is in cng.Build quality is also good not bad but you have do one thing rubber paint.And one more topic about car vibration while gear shifting accelerating so i haven't feel such kind problem.At last one thing i will say that if you want power plus fuel efficiency so you have to drive without passengers and if you want more power so you can change mode(petrol).

The best budget 7 seater car in india.Been driving for an year now, Good performance and low cost of maintenance made this a blockbuster.Switching from a sedan we planned for a suv, But after a lot of researches and gaining reviews from the previous owners, We gone for ertiga as it was in our budget.We use it as a full time 5 seater as we get more boot space, Center seats also come with a 60-40 split which gives more space when 2 or 3 persons travel.From the previous version this model has been upgraded by several things starting from the exterior look to comfort provided to the passengers.The thing which impressed me was the 3rd row seating comfort, Where 2 average sized adults can be seated comfortably with spacious leg rooms, Providing 12v charging socket & bottle holders for the 3rd row is an added advantage.Pros : seating comfortspacious premium looksbest in segmentcons : distance to empty and average mileage shown in the instrumentation cluster is not even close to averagelow mileage as we get only 13 kmpl in city and 18 kmpl in highwayssuspension could have been better.
