Maruti Suzuki India has commenced pre-launch bookings of the facelifted Ertiga ahead of its imminent launch later this month. If you’re interested in booking the people mover, you’ll be happy to know that we have got its variants and colour options. Main thing is that the CNG and automatic transmission will be offered in higher-spec trims.

The facelifted Ertiga will come in four trims: LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. The automatic transmission will be offered in top three trims (ZXI+ being a new addition), while the CNG will be limited to the VXI and ZXI (new addition). Do the math, and the MPV will be offered in a total of nine variants.

In terms of colour options, the people mover will be offered in six colours: Auburn Red, Oxford Blue, Arctic White, Magma Grey, Dignity Brown, and Splendid Silver. Dignity Brown is a new addition to the lineup, while the naming for Silver has changed, so we expect a minor difference in the colour.

The facelifted Ertiga will get a minor cosmetic refresh in the form of a new grille insert and revised dual-barrel projector headlights. Inside, the MPV will feature the new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the Baleno. It could also get new features like cruise control, connected car tech (telematics only), and six airbags.

The facelifted Ertiga will get the revised 1.5-litre petrol engine with Maruti Suzuki’s latest DualJet tech. It will get a 5-speed manual as standard, while the automatic variants will get a new 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters instead of the ageing 4-speed torque converter. There will also be a CNG option.

The facelifted Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is expected to command a minor premium over the outgoing car that is priced from Rs 8.13 lakh. It will renew its rivalry with the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo, and soon-to-be-launched XL6.
