The Harrier Stealth edition is based on the top-spec Fearless Plus variants and will only be available for 2700 units.

It's gradually becoming a routine for Tata Motors to introduce special editions for all their cars. Joining this list now is the Tata Harrier Stealth Edition, which is based exclusively on the top-spec Fearless Plus trims of the regular Harrier. It retains the same powertrain options and gets some cosmetic changes and a few added conveniences for the extra dough. That said, let’s explore all that is new in this edition.

Tata Harrier Stealth vs Regular: What Are The Changes?

First and foremost, the Harrier Stealth Edition looks different, and much of that is owed to the new Matte Stealth Black exterior colour that defines this version. It’s also the first time the Harrier is being offered with a matte shade right from the factory. To gel with this look, all the badges and contrasting silver elements have been blacked out. Needless to say, it looks sinister yet classy.

Next up, this special edition gets 19-inch matte black alloy wheels, compared to the regular 18-inch blacked-out alloy wheels on the standard Harrier.

This special edition also proudly stands out. A Stealth Edition badge is placed on the front fender, distinguishing it from the regular models.

The standard Harrier featured a persona-based interior theme, meaning they get different interior colours based on the variant you pick. With the Stealth Edition, you get a Carbon Noir theme, essentially an all-black interior that looks sportier. It is further accentuated by Granite Black deco stitching on the leather seats.

In terms of features, the Tata Harrier Stealth Edition adds more convenience with a front sliding armrest, which was missing in the regular version. Beyond that, it now supports Alexa voice commands and comes with an inbuilt map by India Navigation. Safety has also been enhanced, as the ADAS feature count has increased from 20 in the standard Harrier to 21 in the Stealth Edition. These are all minor additions and are expected to be made available in the standard Harrier soon.

Tata Harrier Stealth Edition: Features

Apart from all the changes, the Harrier Stealth Edition shares all the other features like 12.3-inch infotainment display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, 10-speaker JBL sound system, ventilated front seats with 6-way power adjustable driver seat with memory function and 4-way power adjustment for the co-driver side, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear door sunshades, powered tailgate with gesture control, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers, wireless phone charger, air purifier with AQI display.

Apart from the ADAS, it also has safety features like 7 airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto hold and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Tata Harrier Stealth Edition: Powertrain

The Tata Harrier Stealth Edition continues to use the same 2-litre Fiat-sourced diesel engine that is there with the standard Harrier. It puts out 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

Tata had previously introduced a Dark Edition for the Harrier. However, unlike the Dark Edition, this is a limited-run model as it’s limited to just 2,700 units. So we suggest you be quick if you have your eyes on one. The same Stealth Edition is also being offered with the Safari if you want a sinister-looking family SUV.

The Harrier Stealth is priced between Rs 25.09 lakh and Rs 26.24 lakh (ex-showroom). These special editions usually attract enthusiasts who prefer a unique package and look for their car.
