Suzuki has unveiled a new special edition of the Inazuma streetbike for the UK market. Christened the Suzuki Inazuma 250Z, the new bike gets dual-tone shades of Red/Black and Blue/Black. The Suzuki Inazuma 250Z has been priced at a premium of Rs 5,000 over the standard version in the UK market. The updates on the special edition Inazuma have been restricted only to the cosmetic front as now improvements have been carried out on the powerplant.
The Suzuki Inazuma is powered by a 248cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine pumping out 26PS of power and torque rating stands at 24Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox, while braking responsibilities are taken care of by Nissin disc brakes at both front and rear. The Inazuma employs semi double-cradle chassis, and features telescopic forks at the front and seven-way adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear. Other notable feature includes LCD display speedometer and the three-spoke aluminium wheels and the bike tips the scale at 183 kg.

Suzuki had recently slashed the pricing of the Inazuma by close to Rs 1lakh in the Indian two-wheeler market which was a humungous reduction of almost 30 per cent less than its launch price. The Suzuki Inazuma currently retails for Rs 2.43 lakh (on road Mumbai).
