Indian Motorcycles seem to be on a roll in India with consumers displaying a lot of interest in the luxury cruiser brand.
So much so, that Polaris India, the parent company of Indian Motorcycles, is now all set to open five new dealerships across India, starting with Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai.
With the inauguration of these dealerships, Indian Motorcycles will have six dealerships across India offering the Indian Scout, the Chief range and the soon to be launched Indian Roadmaster. The Chief range and the Roadmaster share the Thunderstroke 111 engine, and the Roadmaster, available from Rs 37 lakh ex-showroom, will be the most expensive Indian on sale in India.
The Indian Scout, the most affordable cruiser from Indian Motorcycles, at Rs 11.99 lakh ex-showroom, has been the company’s best seller since its launch in August 2014 in India. According to Polaris India officials, there have been around 50 bookings so far for the Indian Scout, which also won the ET ZigWheels Import Bike of the Year award.
