Have fun customising a Navi, and win prizes while you’re at it. What’s not to like?

Honda Navi

A rider's identity is his ride. While owning the Honda Navi is a social statement in itself, you can go further and magnify it up for Honda’s Navi Custo-Mania. It is a contest started by Honda that encourages you to customize and personalize your Navi with paint or stickers, whatever you need. There's also a custom Navi kit that you can find at any Honda dealership. The more original, the quirkier, the better. The contest is a crowdsourced online-and-offline event for both pre-existing Navi owners and to-be Navi owners. It's open to people of all nationalities and you can also participate in a team of up to 4.The only notable condition is that at least one of the team members should be a Navi owner and above the age of 18.

The Honda Navi grabs a lot of eyeballs

If you don't own a Navi yet but have already ordered it, you can simply download the Honda Navi Mobile App and customize your Honda Navi on it virtually. This, however, will be for city-level participants but if you're interested in the National Level competition, log in to www.hondanavicustomania.com. Once you register for the contest, Honda will offer tips and mentorship in your city, along with assistance in the technicalities of the contest.
Well if it’s a contest, there's got to be prizes too, right? Right. The National Level Winner's bike will be featured at the 2018 Auto Expo along with a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh, while the runner-up will take home a prize of Rs 1 lakh. Every city level winner will win Rs 25,000 and every runner-up will be awarded Rs 10,000.

Honda Navi has its own quirky design, can you add to it?

And if you've participated using the app or the website, you stand a chance of winning Rs 25,000 at the National Level and Rs 5000 at the city level. Registrations have already started and will close on 9th November, while participants can send in their entries by the 1st of December.
Honda has always marketed the Navi as neither a scooter nor a bike, but a standalone product in its own right. It appeals to the urban youth with its funky looks and fun, easy to ride capabilities for a new rider. Powered by a 109cc CVT engine that churns out 7.94PS of power and 8.96Nm of torque, the Navi sports 130mm drum brakes at both ends. It sells for Rs 41,512 as per ex-Delhi showroom prices
