The powertrain is where the two SUVs are almost poles apart. The Victoris comes with a NA petrol engine and a strong hybrid petrol engine, while the Curvv gets two turbo-petrol engines. The Victoris also gets a CNG option, whereas the Curvv comes with a diesel unit.

The Curvv’s engines produce the most output, while the Maruti engines are more focused towards fuel efficiency.
All engine options of the Curvv come with an automatic transmission option. The Victoris CNG can be had only with a manual. The Victoris also gets an AWD option, available with the NA petrol engine.
While both the SUVs are on par in terms of pricing and features, they belong to a different set of buyers. The Curvv is for someone who wants a unique and futuristic design, while someone who is in the market for a conventionally styled yet modern-looking SUV would opt for the Victoris.
Out of all the engine options, the Victoris’ strong hybrid would clearly be the easy one to recommend, and for those who want a gruntful unit with decent mileage, can go with the Curvv’s diesel powertrain.
In terms of dealership network and service, Maruti is the clear winner, offering more peace of mind. So if you want an SUV that gets a plush cabin and efficient powertrain, along with a trusted service network, then you can put your money on the Maruti SUV.
If you want a unique body style and design that will make people go woww, and if you prefer a diesel unit over petrol engines, then the Curvv would make sense.
