Ampere has launched the Magnus Neo electric scooter in India. The scooter is available in a single variant and will be displayed at Auto Expo 2025.
The Ampere Magnus Neo gets a contemporary design which has a few sporty highlights such as the sharp side panels, the sharp LED headlight upfront, a long single-piece seat and a raised tail section. The scooter is available in five colours: Metallic Red, Glacial White, Ocean Blue, Galactic Grey, and Glossy Black.

The Ampere Magnus Neo is powered by a removable 2.3kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery which returns a claimed range of over 100km on a single charge. The battery is paired with a hub-mounted electric motor which propels the scooter to a claimed top-speed of 65kmph. The battery can be fully charged in 5-6 hours.

The electric scooter gets a conventional fork and dual-shock absorbers. The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels on both ends. It gets an LCD instrument cluster with three riding modes and a dedicated reverse mode. The scooter gets a small cubby hole in the front apron, connectivity features and a USB charging port for added convenience.

The Ampere Magnus Neo has an introductory price of Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will go against the likes of Ola S1 X, Zelio Eeva ZX+ and the Hero Electric Atria scooters in India.
