The Grand i10 Nios CNG is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre Kappa motor that develops  69PS of power and 95Nm of torque, a drop of 14PS and 19Nm over the petrol-only variants. Unlike the petrol variants, the Grand i10 Nios CNG will be limited to a 5-speed manual transmission.

In terms of features, the top-spec Nios CNG Sportz has you covered with goodies like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, climate control, a wireless phone charger, steering-mounted audio controls, a multi-info display, projector headlamps as well as keyless entry.

However, it misses out on the top-spec Asta variant’s features such as rear adjustable headrests, rear wash and wipe, cooled glove box and even a luggage lamp. That said, it comes with the same set of safety features as the Asta, including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and a rear view camera.

The eco-friendly Grand i10 Nios doesn’t have any direct rivals as it’s the only model with a CNG powertrain in its segment. The standard model competes with the likes of the Ford Figo, Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Hyundai Grand i10.
