Hyundai To Stop Petrol/Diesel Sales In Europe By 2035. India By 2040?

The September discounts from Hyundai are limited to Santro, Grand i10 Nios, Aura, and i20. That leaves out the rest of the carmaker’s lineup including models like the Creta and Alcazar. Hyundai is offering savings worth up to Rs 50,000 depending on the model and the offers are valid till the end of September 2021.
Here’s a breakup on the model-wise offers:

While the CNG variants don’t get any cash discount, the base-spec variant gets less than half the cash discount offered with the others.

The maximum savings of upto Rs 50,000 for the i10 Nios are offered with the variant that is powered by the 100PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine.
Other variants powered by the 1.2-litre petrol or diesel engines are limited to savings of up to Rs 35,000.
The CNG variant continues to offer the least benefits with no cash discounts.

Hyundai’s sub-4m sedan offering gets similar discounts as the hatchback it is based on.
The Aura’s variants with the turbo-petrol engine get the most savings of up to Rs 50,000 while other variants can only get benefits of up to Rs 25,000.

The i20’s 1-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 120PS and is offered with the choice of a 6-speed iMT (clutchless manual). The variants with this powertrain get the most savings of up to Rs 40,000. This does not include the new i20 N Line which counts as another model and not just a variant of the i20.
The diesel-powered variants of the premium hatchback get benefits of up to Rs 15,000.
There seems to be no discount for the i20 variants powered by the 1.2-litre petrol engine.
