Suzuki is all set to pull the wraps off its much awaited Ertiga facelift in Indonesia next month. The car has been in the market since 2012 and was due for a facelift. Spy images of the refreshed Ertiga have emerged on the web several times, but car enthusiasts would get to see the car in flesh on August 20, 2015.
From the spy shots it appears that the new Ertiga sports a single slat chrome grille which replaces the honeycomb mesh grille that was earlier seen on the model. The front bumper, too, has been redesigned completely and now sports similar styling to the likes of the Ciaz. The Ertiga will also get a set of chrome lining along the fog light cluster. Also expect a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels on the Eritga along with a redesigned rear bumper and tail lamp cluster.
Inside, the Ertiga is expected to get new upholstery, automatic climate control, a start/stop button and an updated infotainment system. Other features that could be included are electrically retractable door mirrors and parking sensors.
The current generation petrol and diesel engine options will continue to power the 2015 Ertiga facelift. Maruti engineers might tweak the ECU to further improve the fuel efficiency of the seven-seater.
The Suzuki Ertiga facelift will be exported to Indonesia as completely knocked down (CKD) unit. Maruti may launch the refreshed Ertiga in India around the festive season.
