When luxury meets exclusivity, the result is often stunning, but sometimes, it’s outright jaw-dropping! Meet the Range Rover SV Masāra Edition, launched in India at Rs 4.99 crore. It is the latest ultra-limited bespoke SUV crafted specially for India.
Following the success of the Ranthambore Edition, this new edition takes luxury several notches higher, with just 12 units available for a lucky few. Handcrafted by the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division, the Masāra Edition is all about individuality, luxury, and one-off craftsmanship.
Here's everything you need to know:
The Masāra Edition looks absolutely stunning, enough to catch the eyes of paparazzi. The Satin Blue exterior finish oozes understated richness, while copper accents on the grille, bumpers, doors, and tailgate serve up a contrast that’s tasteful. Even the “Range Rover” lettering is dipped in copper, yes, that’s how minute the attention to detail goes.

Topping it all off are 23-inch forged alloy wheels that give this luxury SUV the kind of stance that says “I’ve arrived” without making any noise.
Slide into the cabin and you are greeted with a two-tone blue and beige interior that gives you first-class feels. The front seats in dark blue, the rear seats in beige, and the dashboard blends both tones beautifully.

It has a four-seater layout, with a fixed rear centre console and individual seats at the back, complete with embroidered detailing and two beautiful cushions (one blue, one beige) with “Masāra Edition” branding.

And just in case you forget how rare this beast is, the illuminated scuff plates not only say “Masāra Edition” but also tell you exactly which of the 12 you’re sitting in.
Being an SV, the Masāra Edition doesn’t skimp on pampering. Each of the four seats is electrically adjustable, heated, cooled, and even offers massage functions. There is even a refrigerator between the rear seats to cool off your choice of poison!

Of course, it is also equipped with dual rear entertainment screens and enough ambient lighting to make a five-star hotel blush.

Up front, you get a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, four-zone climate control, a booming Meridian sound system, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, and of course, a powered tailgate.
On the safety front, it’s loaded with multiple airbags, ESC, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS features to ensure peace of mind comes standard.
The Range Rover Masāra Edition is offered a single 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine that produces 615 PS and 750 Nm of output. It is mated to a 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and gets an all wheel drivetrain.
While the Range Rover goes head-to-head with some serious contenders: the Bentley Bentayga, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and the Mercedes-Maybach GLS. But with only 12 units of the Masāra Edition up for grabs, exclusivity may just tip the scale in its favour.
With the Masāra Edition, Range Rover has once again proven that luxury is in the little things, from the copper detailing to the embroidered cushions in the rear. If you are one of the lucky 12 to snag one, you are not just buying a car, you are buying a piece of Range Rover’s evolving India story, crafted for those who refuse to blend in.
