The Monster Energy MotoGP edition of the Yamaha R15M is no longer on sale in the country. In fact, this model has also been removed from the Yamaha India website. While we have confirmed this development with dealerships in major cities across India, we do not have an exact number of units sold.

The R15M Monster Energy MotoGP Edition featured a livery inspired from the YZR-M1 that brought Monster Energy and ENEOS’s logos to the motorcycle along with a black and blue paint scheme. This variant only featured visual changes as other features remained identical to the standard R15M. The bike features a single-pod headlight with twin-LED DRLs, full-fairing, a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, and a side-slung exhaust.

While the MotoGP edition is no longer on sale, Yamaha is offering the R15M World GP 60th Anniversary edition. Powered by the same 155cc BS6 compliant engine producing 18.4 PS and 14.2 Nm, this variant gets a special livery featuring Yamaha’s white and red ‘speed block’ colour scheme. Additionally, it also features golden alloy wheels, Yamaha’s factory race bike tuning fork emblem, black levers, and special badging on the fuel tank.

Yamaha dealerships are currently accepting bookings for the R15M World GP 60th Anniversary edition, but the bike commands a waiting period that you can check here. Price for this variant is Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 2,000 more than the standard R15M model.
