Royal Enfield has launched its new collection of riding jackets that have been designed and developed for riding through different weather conditions and terrain. The entire range is CE-certified and comes equipped with D3O and Knox armour. Prices start from as low as Rs 4,950 for the urban jackets and go all the way to Rs 14,950 for the all-terrain ones.
The city riding collection includes urban/short jackets, Streetwind V2 and Windfarer, priced at Rs 4,950 and Rs 6,950 respectively. These jackets use polyester mesh for maximum ventilation in the urban jungle and come equipped with Knox CE Level 1 armour on the shoulder and elbow. While the Streetwind v2 is a single-layer jacket, the Windfarer gets an integrated thermal layer with a water-resistant coating.

The highway touring collection is designed for those who would want versatility on long-distance rides and adventure trails. This collection gets three jackets: Explorer V3, Stormraider and Sanders priced at Rs 8,950, Rs 9,950 and Rs 11,950 respectively. The Explorer is a three-layer jacket consisting of a detachable thermal liner and an external rain liner. Designed to be an all-year jacket, it is equipped with Knox microlock CE Level 2 armour. The Stormraider, on the other hand, is a single-layer jacket that comes with a waterproof external shell and gets D3O Level 1 protection at the shoulder and elbow. Sanders, designed for riders living in the hotter parts of the country, is the only cotton jacket in the collection. It is equipped with D3O armour and gets an external rain liner, making it light and comfortable.
The brand’s flagship line of jackets, designed for high-altitude rides, features D3O armour. The range has two variants, Khardung La V2 and Nirvik, priced at Rs 12,950 and Rs 14,950 respectively. While the former gets D3O Level 2 armour at the shoulder and elbow, the latter, in addition to these, gets D3O Level 1 armour for the chest and back.

The entire collection is available at Royal Enfield dealerships, select Central and Shoppers Stop stores along with online shopping sites like Amazon.
