Just about a week after we reported about its imminent India arrival, QJMotor has now officially teased two of its bikes for India. Here’s what you need to know about them:
QJMotor SRC250

The SRC250 is an interesting proposition; not only because of its quirky design, but mainly because it sports a 249cc twin-cylinder engine! That’d make it only the second twin-cylinder, quarter-litre bike in India after the Keeway K-Light 250V. That said, the SRC250’s rather measly 17.9PS and 16.5Nm output figures are much lesser than all of its single-cylinder competition.

QJMotor SRC500

The SRC500 looks simple yet elegant. With the circular headlight, indicators, mirrors and chrome finishing, it shows its retro ambitions very clearly. The spoke wheels and minimal graphics further accentuate them. That said, it bears an uncanny resemblance to its ‘brother from another mother’, the Benelli Imperiale 400. The SRC500’s larger 480cc motor makes 26.15PS and 36Nm.
QJMotor will be brought to the country by Adishwar Auto Ride, the same people who have got the likes of Benelli, Keeway, Moto Morini and Zontes to our shores. We shall bring in more details when an announcement about the bikes is made which is likely to take place sometime closer to India Bike Week taking place on 2-3 December, 2023.
