Skoda has officially taken the wraps off its biggest SUV, the Peaq EV, which is also going to be its flagship SUV. The Skoda Peaq is their all-electric model, and it carries the same Modern Solid design language that was first showcased in the Vision 7S concept. There is no confirmation on its arrival in India as yet; however, if it ever arrives on our shores, expect it via the CBU(Completely Built-up Unit) route. Let's take a closer look at what this Skoda has to offer.
The Skoda Peaq has a chunky front-end design with rectangular LED headlamps complemented by a connected LED light bar across the grille featuring a distinctive broken-line effect. The Skoda logo is positioned prominently on the bonnet, while the bumper houses a large grille flanked by functional air dams on either side.

In profile, the Peaq feels substantial thanks to its wide stance. Interestingly, it is Skoda’s biggest SUV measuring:
4,874 mm in length
1,867 mm in width
1,664 mm in height
2,965 mm wheelbase
It has pronounced wheel-arch cladding, features automatic flush-type door handles and sits on large wheels available in three sizes: 19-inch, 20-inch, and 21-inch. The top-spec variant gets 21-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. There is a Skoda badging on the rear quarter panel, which adds a distinctive touch to the side profile.

At the rear, the Peaq adopts a clean and minimalistic design with slim LED tail lamps that extend into the side profile and feature vertical lighting elements within them. A Skoda wordmark sits between the tail lamps, positioned above the number plate recess. The lower section of the tail lamps visually flows into the bumper, creating a connected effect that meets at the boot line. There is a neatly integrated roof spoiler that blends seamlessly into the overall silhouette.

The Skoda Peaq is available in 10 different colour options: Moon White, Smokey Diamond Silver, Steel Grey, Olibo Green, Energy Blue, Velvet Red, Graphite Grey Metallic, Magic Black, Rosewood Beige and Race Blue.
Step inside the Peaq and you are welcomed by a luxurious-looking interior. The cabin can be had with four different themes: Loft, Lodge, Suite Black, and Suite Ceramique.

The dashboard has a very minimalistic layout flanked by a vertically oriented infotainment screen with most of the controls now integrated into it. There is a new three-spoke steering wheel with the Skoda lettering on it. The ambient lighting makes the cabin feel special. The air vents are nicely integrated in the uniflow lines across the dashboard. The seats of the Peaq look well bolstered, firm and have extended under-thigh support, taking complete care of the occupant’s comfort with a varied range of adjustments available with them.
The Skoda Peaq packs in unique features such as a 13.6-inch vertically placed touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual wireless phone chargers, power-adjustable with memory functions front seats, a 13-speaker Sonus sound system, a panoramic glass roof, a digital key, and USB Type-C ports in all three rows.

In terms of safety, it features ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), 360-degree camera, 10 airbags and, unique to this Skoda, an integrated wiper with washer system.
The Peaq is powered by two battery pack options: 63 kWh and 91 kWh. The bigger battery option has choices of both rear-wheel drivetrain and an all-wheel drivetrain. The Peaq is claimed to offer a range of more than 600 km.
