The 2026 Slavia gets a new fascia but retains the older design theme. The new bumper design now give it a a fresh look with the subtle carbon-fibre-like design below the grille.

The Slavia now gets updated lighting setup including the LED DRLs which now also double up as the indicators and also gets LED fog lamps with cornering function.

On the side, the major change is the new design for the 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. However, the rest of the design details remain largely similar to the outgoing model.
Over to the rear, the slavia gets subtly updates including a carbon-fibre looking trim which connects the tail lamps. The tail lamps also now gets a segmented design. Whats also new is the dynamic LED turn indicators and the LED reverse lamps which were missing in the last iteration.
The Slavia facelift does not get a major upgrade inside. However, like the exterior, the updates here are more subtle and incremental. Slavia now gets a larger digital display for the driver and an updated infotainment display with Google integration.

However, the rear seats get the bigger update.

They now get a massaging function which is first in segment. This was introduced in the Kushaq and is now available to the Slavia as well. The overall interior feels well put together and comfortable thanks to the bright beige colours and the generous space in the cabin.
The Slavia facelift now gets a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The driver also gets an upgraded 10.25-inch digital information display. This is paired with a 6-speaker sound system as well. The Slavia also gets front ventilated and powered seats, a single-pane sunroof, wireless charging and automatic climate control.

Safety-wise, the Slavia now gets a 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors.

However, it continues to get ABS with EBD, 6 airbags, hill-hold control and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Slavia facelift gets the same engine options as before. However, the change is the new 8-speed automatic gearbox available for the smaller 1-litre engine. Powertrain specifications are as follows:
|
Specification |
1-litre Turbo-petrol Engine |
1.5-litre Turbo-petrol Engine |
|
Power |
115 PS |
150 PS |
|
Torque |
178 Nm |
250 Nm |
|
Transmission* |
6-speed MT, 8-speed AT (new) |
7-speed DCT |
AT- Torque Converter (automatic), DCT - Dual-Clutch Transmission (automatic)

The powertrain options of the Slavia have always been plenty powerful for most diving occasions. Hence, it depends on the nature of usage and driving you have to choose between the two engines.
The new 8-speed automatic improves slow-speed driving and fuel efficiency as compared to the outgoing 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The Slavia goes against the sedan segment rivals like the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and the Hyundai Verna.
The Slavia facelift brings incremental changes to the 2026 model year update. However, the changes are tangible improvements over the outgoing model thanks to the new 8-speed gearbox and the new AC system, which is now said to improve cooling performance during out hot indian conditions.

Feature upgrades like the rear seat massaging and the Google-integrated infotainment system bring added comfort and convenience compared to its rivals. In the safety department as well, the Salvia gets a much better 360-degree camera system, which is a major upgrade over the old low-resolution single rear camera. The addition of the front parking sensors also improves confidence in tight spaces.
