Hyundai Aura Now Comes With AMT In The Lower-spec S Variant! Here’s How Much You Will Save…

With the growing population, the number of vehicles on our roads has also tremendously increased, causing more traffic and chaos, especially in crowded metro cities. With this, the need for an automatic transmission cannot be ignored, and it definitely makes life easier. Hyundai has now smartly introduced its AMT with the lower-spec S variant of the Aura, making the automatic option more affordable.

Hyundai Aura S AMT Price 

The S AMT is priced at Rs 8.08 lakh, bringing you a decent list of safety and essential features at the price point, along with the convenience of an automatic. Here is a detailed look at its pricing:

As seen in the table above, the AMT variant comes at a premium of around Rs 70,000 when compared to the manual variant. However, the introduction of the Aura S AMT makes the automatic option more affordable by Rs 87,000. 

Hyundai Aura S AMT Specifications 

The Aura S variant misses out on the feel-good features but offers all the essentials and some important safety features as well. It comes with keyless entry, analogue dials for the instrument cluster with a multi-information display (MID), manual AC with rear vents, 4 speakers, footwell lighting, and rear centre armrest with cupholders. 

The safety features include ABS with EBD, six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.

The Aura S AMT comes with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which makes 83 PS and 114 Nm. The same engine also comes with a 5-speed manual, and the option of a factory-fitted CNG kit that can be had only with the manual transmission.

The Aura’s overall pricing ranges from Rs 6.54 lakh to Rs 9.11 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with the likes of the Maruti Dzire, Tata Tigor and Honda Amaze.

Offering AMT with lower-spec variants is a smart decision as it will definitely attract those who want the convenience of an automatic. Moreover, it also attracts potential Dzire and Amaze buyers, as the S AMT would undercut the entry-level automatic variant of both these sedans by a fair margin.
