The Citroen C3 Aircross is set to be launched in the Brazilian market soon. Ahead of its official introduction, the French marque has revealed the specifications of the Brazil-spec C3 Aircross. And the model sold there will get a completely different turbo-petrol engine and transmission option as compared to the model sold here.

The Brazilian C3 Aircross is propelled by a smaller 1-litre turbo-petrol engine that’s offered in various other Stellantis group’s cars such as Fiats and Peugeots. It’s more powerful than the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine offered with the India-spec C3 Aircross and gets an automatic option too.
Here’s a brief comparison of both the engine’s specifications:

Citroen not offering an automatic transmission with the C3 Aircross in India is a bummer. But fret not as the French marque will introduce it later down the line, probably the 6-speed torque converter from the Indonesian model, not a CVT as is offered for the Brazil-spec SUV.

Apart from the engine, the Brazilian C3 Aircross is more or less similar to what we get here. That means you get a no-nonsense exterior, all the essential features and three rows of seating with removable third row seats. In India, the Citroen C3 Aircross is priced from Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Its alternatives include compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos as well as three-row MPVs such as Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Kia Carens.
