Citroen revealed rapid expansion plans at C3 Aircross’s debut.
Will have 60 operational showrooms across 55 cities by the time the new SUV goes on sale.
C3 Aircross SUV could launch around July/August.
Plans to have 100 touchpoints by 2024.
Remember when not too long ago (relatively), Citroen had a plan to expand its dealer network to 19 cities across the country? That was about 10 months ago. Fast forward to today, Citroen has just unveiled its fourth offering for the country, the C3 Aircross, and disclosed plans for rapid expansion of its touchpoints for a better ownership experience and to make in-general accessibility easier, both for sales and services.

The carmaker has announced that by the time the new C3 Aircross hits the market, which is expected to happen sometime around July/August, the carmaker aims to have 60 operational showrooms in 55 cities throughout the country. That is impressive, to say the least, considering the marque was planning to expand its presence to 19 cities just about a year ago.

Not impressed yet? How about 100 dealerships by 2024? No, we aren’t throwing up numbers by ourselves, but just stating the projections made by Citroen itself. And honestly, this rapid expansion makes sense, even more so when a carmaker takes a market seriously, and Citroen is!

With the rapid expansion plans, that bit would become easier as well as it will help the French marque improve its sales in the country, especially considering that it has new models arriving soon.

In a span of three years, the carmaker has come up with four offerings, one of them being an electric vehicle - the eC3. It has further announced that another product is in the pipeline, based on the same platform as the C3 hatchback, so commitment to the customer base is definitely present. Kudos to Citroen for expanding its network and not just cashing in without thinking about the consumers.
