Perhaps one of Tata’s most-awaited launches in recent years is the new 2025 Sierra, and you will be happy to know that it comes with a long list of equipment. However, it is well known that some of these are just our favourites, so here is a look at the top 5 features that will win Indians’ hearts in the all-new Sierra:
It is no secret that we Indians are huge fans of the sunroof. Practical or not, they definitely make the cabin feel more upmarket and much brighter. With Tata giving the new Sierra a huge panoramic unit, we are sure that this feature will be a hit amongst the buyers.

The new Sierra features a massive three-screen layout inside encompassing the digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system and a passenger entertainment screen as well. While we do not have more details yet, it will also feature wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which further enhances the convenience aspect of the new Sierra. Also noteworthy is the fact that this is a first-time feature, not just for the Sierra, but even for Tata Motors as a whole!

We Indians are not the types to travel light! And with the Sierra’s large and well-sized boot, be assured that it will be one of the more popular cars to take on road trips. Given that, the presence of a powered tailgate is no less than a boon, making it far easier to load and unload luggage and offering a far more pleasant experience over the thud that the tailgate would make otherwise.

A chiller of an AC is what Tata cars have always been known for, and the Sierra takes it up a notch with the inclusion of dual-zone climate control so that the driver and co-driver can both set up their own temperature zones, and not fight for the best ambient temperature. Ideally, offering more comfort, especially in our hot and tropical weather.

Navigating through our cities, or urban jungles as they are called, is not for the faint-hearted, and the tight parking spots can scare quite a few new drivers, but thankfully, Tata has equipped the new Sierra with a 360-degree camera, which takes a lot of stress out of the equation. With more precise parking and a full 360 view, it is undoubtedly one of the most useful features in India.

Audiophiles will be overjoyed to know that Tata has equipped the new Sierra with a 12-speaker JBL Black sound system with a unique soundbar integrated into the dashboard! Not just this, but the sound system comes equipped with Dolby Atmos as well, ensuring a proper ‘concert’ experience on every drive.

Tata’s Sierra is back! And it gets a long list of features, in addition to its retro-inspired design. But out of these, a few stand out because of their usefulness or just simple, the cool factor. We are excited for the new Sierra, the details and pricing of which will be revealed on November 25. Stay tuned to ZigWheels for more information on the new Sierra as and when it comes out.
