Tata Motors has given us another glimpse into the 2025 Sierra, slated to be launched on November 25! After Saturday’s exterior teaser, we now get a better idea of some of the features that the retro SUV will be equipped with, along with a sneak peek into the interior. Here is what the teaser reveals:
While we now have official confirmation about the Sierra being launched on November 25 and the different alloy wheels in the production version, the latest teaser reveals some key details about the interior. Tata has now officially confirmed that the Sierra will be equipped with a massive panoramic sunroof and the tri-screen setup, both of which will make it to the production-ready version of the Compact SUV.

Besides this, we also see rear sunshades and a small preview of the digital instrument cluster graphics, along with the dual-tone white and black interior theme, which is expected to be offered in the top trims to extend an airy feel to passengers. We also see red paint on the door frames, confirming a dark red exterior colour option as well.

The exterior design of the Tata Sierra uses a boxy and minimalist theme with some retro touches to pay tribute to the original Sierra. At the front, you have a black insert encompassing a connected light bar and the headlamps, along with a faux skid plate lower down on the bumper. Towards the side, it gets flush door handles, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and a black roof insert to mimic the curved rear windows of the first Sierra. Towards the rear, you have a flat hatch with a connected taillamp cluster and a faux silver skid plate lower down.

In terms of features, while we can now confirm that it gets a panoramic sunroof and a tri-screen setup for the digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system and a passenger entertainment display, although it is also likely to get features such as dual-zone climate control, wireless charger, ambient lighting, a premium sound system, ventilated and powered front seats and drive modes. Safety-wise, it could be equipped with 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, 360 degree camera and front and rear parking sensors.

Under the hood, it will be powered by 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options with manual and automatic gearbox options. You can check the expected specifications of the powertrains here.
Tata will launch the new Sierra on November 25. While we await the prices, we expect Tata to price it in the Rs 15 lakh to 25 lakh (ex-showroom) range. When launched, it will go up against other segment incumbents like the upcoming Renault Duster that has just been announced, the upcoming 2026 Kia Seltos, the upcoming Nissan Tekton, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Victoris and Grand Vitara and the Tata Curvv.
The interior of the Sierra truly looks modern and futuristic and will complement the award-winning exterior design very well. With a long feature list, competent powertrains and that styling, the new Sierra seems to be shaping up to be the perfect tribute to the iconic original Sierra. But will it? We will only know for sure later this month.
