The Tata Punch EV is inching closer to launch. The exterior of the car has already been revealed, and while the powertrain specifications are yet to be divulged, we’ve now got our first look inside its cabin. We knew there were going to be a bunch of new features for the Punch nameplate but these images reveal deets about new styling cues as well. Let’s dive right into it:
The first images for the Punch EV’s cabin are more of a tease than a proper reveal. Still, we can decipher that while the dashboard styling is the same, Tata has given the centre console a revamp. Changes come in the form of the new 10.25-inch infotainment system and below it, the Nexon-inspired touch-sensitive AC controls. Apart from that, it will come packing with a host of features the ICE Punch doesn’t get, details of which can be found here.
We can also spot Tata’s new two-spoke steering wheel, which also gets touch-sensitive controls for various functions. An image of the rear also reveals the upholstery colours, which seem to be a mixture of dual white and grey tones. It is possible that Tata will offer a variant-wise cabin theme, as it did with the Nexon.
Until more information is released, you can check out the variant-wise colour options for the Punch EV here
As mentioned earlier, details on the specifications are sparse at the moment, save for its platform. You can know more about Tata’s new Acti.ev Pure EV platform here. All the remaining details about Tata’s latest upcoming EV can be found in its reveal article.

Prices for the Punch EV are expected to be out in the coming weeks. Given that electric counterparts ask for a premium over their standard ICE-powered iterations, you can expect a starting price of around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). It will lock horns with the Citroen eC3, while being an SUV alternative to the Tata Tigor EV.
