- MG offers the Hector with two engine options: a 143PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 170PS 2.0-litre diesel. Transmission options include a standard 6-speed manual and a dual-clutch automatic for the petrol variants. The turbo-petrol manual powertrain is also available with a 48v mild-hybrid system. On the other hand, Kia Seltos is offered with three BS6-compliant engines: a 140PS 1.4-litre turbo-petrol, a 115PS diesel, and a 115PS 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) option. All three engines come paired to a 6-speed manual as standard. But, they use different automatic gearboxes. The Seltos turbo-petrol comes with a 7-speed DCT, the diesel with a 6-speed torque converter, and NA petrol with CVT.
