Standard may be referred to more modern approach of the model while classic you know as the name says will always stay classic. For better understanding consider pulsar UG 1 or 2 model's they have round head lights, spoke wheel's, smaller Tyres amd lastly outdated square tail lamps. But from UG 3 on they adopted modern and masculine features like Tank Shrouds,Clip on Handle bars,Split seats, Razor like split Led tail lamps, Wolf eyed pilot lamps, digital console,Alloy wheels etc.

Std model has stickering while the classic models dont have stickering. that is the only difference. earlier the classic models didnot come with the tank shrouds but, the new classic models have the tank shrowds. so the difference is just with stickers now.

Brother, without rear disc brake you can manage, but without kick it is impossible to manage after warranty expire. Single disc brake is very good bike with good mileage. Without hesitation go for single disc brake pulsar. Generally no one bike rear disc brake always remain less powerful rather than front disc brake.
