Q. Which one is good among all of its variants - Disc, Drum and Alloy - Activa 125?
  • Disc and alloys are not necessary, alloys are just for looks, disc provides better braking but drums too are very good for braking, but if you drive rough, discs are made for you
  • The Disc brakes always have a better braking power than the Drum brakes. So it is safer and preferable with Alloy Wheels.Hope this helps! Happy riding!
  • Alloy is a type of wheel base on which tyre is mounted. So considered as betyer as compared to spoke or sheet metal frame.Disc brake is more efficient

Q. I am 6 feet tall and I commute 100 km everyday, which scooter should I buy for comfort driving among Access 125, Activa 125, Vespa and Ntorq 125
  • Scooter are basically for short distance or within our area premisesAnd if you travel so long then it's not worth buying scooty or bike. Instead of this take a second hand good car with cng and travel with comfort.Scooter is basically for area people take these for long rides but for daily commute it's very difficult.100 Kms = 1.45 to 2 hours of journey so please take decision wisely.
  • If you commute 100 kms everyday, you should consider buying a bike with good suspension rather than choosing a scooter. Riding 100 kms in activa 125 will gradually give you back pain as it is designed mainly for city rides with good roads..front suspension of activa 125 is telescopic.and its engine performance is also good ..but not for everyday long journeys.
  • For 100 km Daily i will suggest go for Hero Passion Plus or TVS Victor . Since these 2 bikes are comfortable driving all day long without putting hole in your pocket . Don't even bother to consider scooter for 100 km a day . Its will give you pain in your lower back and right hand side shoulder & will drill a hole in your pocket .
