Low mileage

I bought ax5 7 str petrol manual version in april 2022. It's an awesome vehicle in terms of drive and comfort and ofcourse it is one of the safest car. Only flip side is mileage. In city I get nothing more than 9 kmpl and on highways near to 10 kmpl. I thought I shall get 13 as minimum on highways.
