Hero HF Deluxe Flex Fuel FAQs
HF Deluxe Flex Fuel Key Highlights
Design: In terms of design, the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel remains largely unchanged from the standard model. It continues with the same simple commuter styling, featuring a halogen headlight, body-coloured front cowl, long single-piece seat, and functional body panels. The overall design prioritises durability and ease of use, making it familiar to existing HF Deluxe buyers.
Features: Feature-wise, the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel remains a straightforward commuter motorcycle. It gets an analogue instrument console with a digital fuel gauge, electric start, side-stand engine cut-off, and Hero’s i3S idle stop-start technology, which helps improve fuel efficiency in stop-and-go traffic.
Engine: Powering the motorcycle is a 97.2cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is now compatible with ethanol blends from E20 to E85. To support the wider fuel compatibility, Hero has equipped the bike with a new fuel pump and updated engine management system. As a result it now makes 8.56PS and 8.30Nm, both 7% and 3% more than the E20 version, respectively. The engine continues to focus on fuel efficiency and ease of riding, making it well-suited for daily commuting duties.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The underpinnings remain unchanged, with the motorcycle using a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. It rides on 18-inch wheels at both ends and gets drum brakes, with Hero’s Integrated Braking System (IBS) helping improve braking performance and stability.
Rivals: The Hero HF Deluxe Flex Fuel is aimed at riders looking for an affordable and fuel-efficient commuter motorcycle while supporting the growing adoption of ethanol-based fuels in India. It rivals other entry-level commuter motorcycles such as the Honda Shine 100, Bajaj Platina 100, and TVS Sport.
