- It's the preferred bike for many for riding to Ladakh, thanks to its torquey engine and ease of carrying heavy loads
Design

- Timeless, retro looks make it look beautiful from all angles
- The round LED headlight with the tiger lamps accentuate the retro aspect of the roadster very well
- It gets stylish colour options with premium badging that make the bike look premium
- The classic design won’t appeal to those who like modern-looking motorcycles
Performance & Mileage

- Powered by a 349cc, air-cooled engine producing 20.4PS at 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm
- Comes with a 5-speed gearbox along with a slip and assist clutch
- Motor offers smooth performance and can sustain speeds of 100kmph comfortably
- Motor is very tractable, making the retro roadster easy to ride in the city
- Returned mileage of 41.55kmpl in city and 37.77kmpl on highway in our tests, which is quite good for a 350cc bike
- Post 100kmph, some vibrations start to creep in; 80-90kmph is the sweet spot for the bike
- Doesn’t have the iconic 'thump' of the older Classic but still has a sweet sounding exhaust note
Handling

- The Classic 350 has neutral handling characteristics and is quite easy to manoeuvre in city traffic conditions
- Requires a bit of effort to tip the bike into corners but it is not a deal breaker
- The initial bite from the brakes could have been better
Ride Quality

- The telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers suspension setup handles bumps and potholes quite well
- With a ground clearance of 170mm, the Classic 350 tackles speed breakers easily
- The rear suspension setup is a bit on the firmer side, meaning undulations can be felt while riding over bad roads at high speeds
Comfort & Storage

- Gets a relaxed and upright riding posture with an easy to reach handlebar and mid-set footpegs
- Comfortable for commuting on a daily basis as well as for touring and the occasional highway rides
- Despite the 805mm seat height, riders of all heights and can easily plant both feet flat on the ground
- Stock seat is a bit too soft, better to upgrade to the touring seat
- Still feels quite heavy when parking or moving with your feet

- The roadster gets a semi-digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer looks properly retro
- Digital inset that shows odometer, trip meter and fuel gauge readouts is good to have
- All-LED lighting and a USB Type-C fast charging port is available as standard for the dual-channel ABS variants
- Tripper navigation pod for turn-by-turn navigation is now standard on the Emerald and Stealth colour options
- The Classic 350 is still not as feature rich as some of the bikes in the same price range
