UK-based designer Kar Lee is known for his outrageous takes on motorcycles, design renders of which can be seen on his Kardesign instagram page. The latest example is the artist’s vision of how a collaboration between Italian automotive icons Ducati and Italjet would look like. The image is of the recently launched Italjet Dragster with Ducati Panigale-inspired bodywork.
The Italjet Dragster is an exotic looking scooter and with this neatly executed concept it looks like it has just rolled off the Ducati production floor. That's with just a few body panels added. The rendering uses just the Panigale V2’s entire front end as the scooter's front apron and floorboard panel. Its rear section too uses the Panigale V2’s tail piece.

Could there be a collaboration between the two. We say why not? Ducati has previously collaborated with other brands to come up with exclusive stuff. Just take a look at its MIG-RR e-bike. The bikemaker has never dabbled with conventional scooters, a genre that has a massive following in Europe. If Ducati were to get into the sporty scooter segment via a collaboration, could there be a better scooter than the Italjet Dragster?
