Renault’s newly launched sub-4m SUV, the Kiger, will be affected too

  • This will be Renault’s second price hike in 2021.
  • Increment will vary depending on the model.

  • Hike has been attributed to rise in various input costs.

  • The hike will be effective from April 1, 2021.

Renault India's portfolio currently comprises four models: Kiger, Duster, Triber, and the Kwid. The carmaker has now announced a price hike across its model range, due to a rise in input costs. The newly launched Kiger will also see an increment. Back in January 2021, Renault had hiked prices by up to Rs 40,000.

Here’s how Renault models are priced currently:

Model

Existing Prices (ex-showroom)

Kwid

Rs 3.12 lakh to Rs 5.31 lakh

Kiger

Rs 5.45 lakh to Rs 9.72 lakh

Triber

Rs 5.30 lakh to Rs 7.82 lakh

Duster

Along with Renault, Maruti Suzuki, Nissan and Datsun have also announced a price hike across their range w.e.f April 2021.
