Jaguar has added the XF luxury sedan to its locally assembled car portfolio in India. Prices of the XF now start at Rs 47.50 Lakh, ex-showroom Delhi - a reduction of Rs 2 Lakh as compared to the model launched in September 2016. Customers can book the new XF at any of the 24 dealerships of the company in India or through its website. The other Jaguar cars assembled in India are the XE entry-level luxury sedan and the XJ flagship luxury sedan.
The XF has not received any cosmetic or mechanical changes. The design is sharp with LED headlamps, Jaguar signature LED DRLs, a large deep-set chrome grille, large air scoops on the front bumper, 17-inch/18-inch alloy wheels, F-type inspired LED tail lights etc.

The XF was significantly updated in 2016, receiving a new lightweight aluminium platform which is also stronger and stiffer than before. Interior design was also updated to keep up with the times and most importantly, the rear legroom and knee room were enhanced. Other highlights included a 10.2-inch InControl Touch Pro infotainment system paired with a Meridian sound system, premium leather upholstery and a 10-colour mood lighting system.
The diesel variants of the XF are powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged motor from the company's new 'Ingenium' series. This develops 180PS of maximum power at 4,000rpm and 430Nm of peak torque at 1,750-2,500rpm. The motor is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission with power sent to the rear wheels. Claimed fuel efficiency is 19.33kmpl.

The petrol variants of the XF are powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged motor. This develops 240PS of maximum power at 5,500rpm and 340Nm of peak torque at 1,750-2,000rpm. This motor, too, is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission with power sent to the rear wheels. Claimed fuel efficiency is 13.12kmpl.
The Jaguar XF diesel is available in the Pure, Prestige and Portfolio trims, while the XF petrol is available in the Prestige and Portfolio trims.
