Since its launch in May 2016, the Honda BR-V has registered over 10,000 bookings. The BR-V has been priced starting at Rs 8.75 lakh for the base petrol model, while the top-end diesel variant is priced at Rs 12.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The compact SUV comes with a 3 year unlimited km warranty policy which has been well accepted by its buyers.

Speaking on the bookings of the BR-V, Yoichiro Ueno, President & CEO, Honda Cars India Ltd said, “The recently launched Honda BR-V has received a good consumer response with over 10,000 bookings since launch. BR-V has amassed strong interest from both young and middle aged customers. We are confident that it will attract more customers with its strong desirable values.”
"As per current demand, BR-V has witnessed equal consumer preference in petrol and diesel variants. The new warranty policy of 3 year unlimited km warranty for BR-V has been very positively accepted and is one of the driving forces for good acceptance of BR-V in the market," he further added.

The Honda BR-V is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol churns out 119PS of power and 145Nm of peak torque from the 1.5-litre i-VTEC motor, while the diesel variant gets a 1.5-litre i-DTEC motor that produces 100PS of power and 200Nm of peak torque. Both the engines of the BR-V come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, while a CVT automatic is available with the petrol motor.
The compact SUV shares its platform with the Brio hatchback, the Amaze compact sedan and the Mobilio MPV sold in India. It is the only vehicle in its class to feature a 7-seater configuration with bench seats for the third row, a fact that stands as its strongest selling point.
