The new offering is available with a starting price of Rs 8.75 lakh for the base petrol model, while the top-end diesel variant is priced at Rs 12.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The BR-V shares its platform with the Brio hatchback, Amaze sedan and the Mobilio MPV. Falling in the segment of compact SUVs, the BR-V is the only vehicle in its class to feature a 7-seater configuration with bench seats for the third row, a fact that stands as its strongest selling point.

Honda is offering the BR-V with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol puts out 119PS of power and 145Nm of peak torque from the 1.5-litre iVTEC motor. For the diesel variant, the BR-V gets the 1.5-litre Earth Dreams turbocharged motor that produces 100PS of power and 200Nm of peak torque. Honda uses the same engines for its popular City and Mobilio models. Both the variants of BR-V come with a 6-speed manual transmission while only the petrol has been provided with the option of a CVT automatic transmission.

The BR-V is equipped with lots of features like projector headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, heat absorbing front windshield, and much more on the exterior front. Inside, the BR-V get leather-wrapped interiors, automatic climate control, second-row roof AC vents, paddle shifter (CVT), push button start, and 3D-speedometer with a multi-information display, to name a few.
The Honda BR-V is available in four different variant - E, S, V, and VX trims, and is offered in six colour shades.
