A substantial part of the price hike is due to the introduction of fuel injection as all the motorcycles in the list currently come with a carburettor setup. We expect the new BS6 variants to get offer a bit more performance compared to their BS4 counterparts. It also appears that Bajaj has axed the more affordable Pulsar 125 Neon drum brake variant in the ongoing transition to BS6 norms.

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon is powered by a 124.4cc motor that delivers 11.8PS and 10.8Nm of torque. Its larger sibling, the Pulsar 150 Neon gets a 149.5cc motor that puts out 14PS and 13.4Nm. The Pulsar NS160 comes with a 160.3cc mill which develops 15.5PS and 14.6Nm. Lastly, the Pulsar 180 Neon has a 178.6cc powerplant that offers 17.02PS and 14.22Nm of torque.

Similar to the recently launched Pulsar 150 BS6 and Pulsar 150 Twin Disc BS6, we do not expect Bajaj to offer any cosmetic or feature updates on these BS6 motorcycles.
