Skoda showcased a wide range of cars at the recently held Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. Above all, the brand promised four new models for the market, including the performance-spec Octavia RS and its first-ever electric car – in an SUV body style. Currently, it sells only a handful of models, such as the Kushaq, Slavia, new Kylaq, and the outgoing Kodiaq and Superb. That said, the new upcoming cars, alongside the on-sale MQB-A0-IN-based cars, will bring a fresh breath of air to the Skoda India lineup. Here is the list of what is coming sooner than later.
To be launched in April 2025
One of the first new models to be launched in India from Skoda will be the new generation Kodiaq. It gets a new look, sporty design, a completely overhauled interior with an upmarket appearance, and new features comprising a 13-inch infotainment. Internationally, Petrol, diesel, and hybrid powertrain options also include upgrades, particularly the plug-in hybrid system with an electric-only range of about 100 km. A mild hybrid functionality is also on board for other engines. The India-spec model will likely continue with a 2-litre petrol engine.
To be launched by July 2025
The major highlight of the Skoda pavilion at the Bharat Auto Expo 2025 was the refreshed Octavia RS. This long-awaited sedan offering from the Czech carmaker is all set to arrive in India by July 2025. The recently revealed facelifted Octavia RS adorns a sporty look with a distinct design, a flashy paint scheme with contrasting black accents, alloy wheels, and an all-black interior equipped with RS-specific elements. Powering the Octavia RS is a 2-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 265 PS and 370 Nm. As a result, it can reach 100 kmph from a standstill in 6.4 seconds.

To be launched in October 2025
Skoda recently unveiled the updated Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe globally, featuring a new design language, called Modern Solid, with improved aerodynamics, a fresh interior in line with the Superb and Kodiaq, additional features, and a slightly longer range. There are two battery pack options for the international market across three trims with varying ranges and power outputs. The maximum range stands at 580 km for the SUV and 590 km for the SUV coupe. The India-bound 2025 Enyaq could be a rear-wheel drive version with a large battery capacity.

To be launched in December 2025
Last but not least, the new generation Superb will be the last offering from the four new models planned for India. Similar to the 2025 Kodiaq, it gets a fresh look bearing an elegant stance and an upmarket interior that closely resembles the Kodiaq. Powertrain options range from 1.5-litre to 2-litre petrol and diesel engines, including a plug-in hybrid. All-wheel drive is also available on select engine options. However, the India-spec version will likely get a 2-litre petrol motor.

While the car buffs await exciting new Skoda car launches, including the 2025 Octavia RS, the brand will commence customer deliveries of its new Kylaq in India on Monday, 27 January. It is available in four variants and seven paint options. The sub-compact SUV is powered by a 120 PS 1-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine.
Stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming Skoda cars. Do share your thoughts about its lineup and your pick.
