Weekly Bike News: 2025 KTM 390 Duke Launched, Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid Launched, KTM 160s To Be Launched Soon, Hero Splendor Spotted With A Disc Brake and More

This was quite an interesting weekend with a lot of interesting launches and updates. There were some long anticipated launches along with updates which would lead to new launches in the near future. Here’s a brief overview of everything we saw.

2025 KTM 390 Duke Launched

KTM India launched the new 390 Duke with a brand new paint scheme called the Ebony Black colour. It is an all-black paint scheme which makes the motorcycle look stealthy and it does suit the street naked quite well. Along with this paint scheme update we also saw the addition of a cruise control system which was missed earlier in the 390 Duke. Even with all these changes KTM India has managed to keep the price unchanged. At Rs 2.95 lakh (ex-showroom) and with all the new updates, the 390 Duke has surely become a lot more desirable than before.

2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid

Yamaha launched India’s first 150cc hybrid motorcycle, called the FZ-S Fi Hybrid. The motorcycle uses a mild-hybrid technology which helps in boosting the overall performance and fuel economy of the motorcycle. At Rs 1,44,800 (ex-showroom Delhi), the FZ-S Fi Hybrid is a fairly expensive motorcycle but the mild-hybrid tech and 4.2-inch TFT screen gets it justified.

KTM To Launch The 160 Duke And RC 160 Soon

KTM 160s might replace the 125 Duke and 125 RC soon. With the addition of the 160cc Duke and RC, KTM wants to take on the Yamaha R15 and MT-15. They are expected to produce somewhere around 18-20PS and 15-18Nm. 

Simple OneS Launched

Simple Energy launched the Simple OneS which replaced the Dot one electric scooter in Simple’s lineup. It is priced at Rs 1,39,999 (ex-showroom Delhi) and gets a fixed 3.7kWh battery pack. The electric scooter promises a range of 181km and has a claimed top speed of 105kmph. In the Indian market it competes with the Bajaj Chetak 3501, Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube and Ather 450S. 

Hero Splendor Spotted with a disc brake setup

India’s favourite two wheeler the Hero Splendor, was recently spotted with a front disc brake setup. The top end version of the Splendor costs Rs 79,926 (ex-showroom Delhi), the disc brake version is expected to be launched at a price of about Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom).
