While Harley Davidson’s electric sub-brand, LiveWire, sold out the S2 Del Mar Launch edition in 18 minutes, it’s going to be a yearlong wait for the standard model to be launched. Based on Harley’s price target of USD 15,000, equivalent to Rs 11.58 lakh, we have come up with a wishlist of five high-performance electric motorcycles that can rival the S2 Del Mar.

Here’s an intriguing fully-faired electric sports motorcycle by California-based Zero Motorcycles that has impressive performance figures. Boasting of a 0-100 kmph sprint time of less than 3.5 seconds, a top speed of 199 kmph, and a mind-boggling claimed range of 365 km, this bike is powered by a 82 kW (111.5PS) motor and priced at USD 19,995 (Rs 15.47 lakh).

Living upto its name, this electric bike by Damon Motorcycles has the firepower in its arsenal to deliver raw performance, while having adjustable ergonomics, making it convenient enough for your daily ride. Capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, thanks to its wild 160 kW (217.5PS) motor, the hypersport is also capable of delivering a claimed range of 321 km. It is priced at USD 17,000 (Rs 13.16 lakh).

Made in Barcelona, the Pursang E-Track retains the essence of a classic motorbike, but with all the cutting-edge technology expected of a 21st century electric motorcycle. Propelled by a 11kW (15PS) motor, this bike is built to hit rocky trails, teetering mountain trails, or winding hill paths, while giving a maximum claimed range of 140 km and a top speed of 110 kmph.

Another piece of electrical goodness from the guys at Zero Motorcycles comes in the form of the Zero SR/F. This naked motorcycle, just like its faired cousin, sports similar performance and range figures, however, it should be marginally lighter in weight due to the lack of fairing, which should make it more nimble to handle. This electric bike is priced at USD 19,990 (Rs 15.47 lakh).

Saving the best for last, while it is the costliest in our wishlist at USD 22,160 (Rs 17.15 lakh), the Energica Eva Ribelle is one with dynamic styling and an iconic aesthetic, while packing incredible power and performance. This motorcycle is powered by a 108 kW (147PS) motor and is capable of achieving a top speed of 200 kmph and a claimed range of 400 km, the highest in this list.
