Hyundai’s new Venue is here with a bang! And to make it a lot more appealing, it has gone through comprehensive upgrades both outside and inside including a more modern and longer equipment list as well.
But there are still a few features which could have added to the style quotient and convenience in the new Venue and have not been offered.
Here are the Top 5 features, we feel would have made the it a complete package:
While the Venue does get a 4-way power adjustable driver seat, the height adjustment still remains a manual function like the outgoing car. Considering the generation leap and the fact that rivals like the Skoda Kylaq are equipped with fully power-adjustable front seats, Hyundai could have given the Venue full power adjustment for a more premium experience.
On the same note, the co-driver seat also gets manual adjustment only, which could have been power-adjustable as well for a more upmarket and comfortable in-cabin experience.

One of the favourite features of Indian buyers has to be the panoramic sunroof. But unfortunately, Hyundai has decided to equip the new Venue with a single-pane unit only.
While a panoramic sunroof does little to add usefulness, it plays a major role in making the cabin feel more airy and can be used to soak in the cool breeze during winters.
Also considering that rivals like the Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO offer the feature, Hyundai could have given it in the new Venue as well.

A very useful feature that Hyundai could have given the Venue is a ventilated rear seat base, which its cousin, the Kia Syros offers. While being an underrated feature and not a visible one, it can be incredibly useful in providing respite from India’s hot climate especially benefitting chauffeur-driven buyers who spend a lot of time on the rear seat.

Let’s be honest, everyone has gotten into a fight over the AC temperature in the car! Sometimes, it's too cold and other times it's too warm.
A classic solution to this very common issue lies with dual-zone climate control offering the driver and co-driver separate adjustment for the temperature they desire. With the Venue, we wish Hyundai had offered this feature as it enhances the comfort factor greatly, especially given that the Mahindra XUV 3XO also offers it.

With our cities getting more congested every year, it is no surprise that buyers are now shifting their preference from manual to automatic transmissions, however for those looking at the lower variants equipped with the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, Hyundai only offers a 5-speed manual gearbox option.
We feel that Hyundai could have also offered this engine with an IVT transmission from the i20 hatchback just to give the option of an automatic gearbox to buyers looking to spend below Rs 10 lakh on an easy urban runabout and don’t require the additional performance from the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine.

There is a lot to look forward to in the new Venue, including a long list of features. However, the presence of these missing features could have made the Venue an even more attractive package than it already is.
