2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift Cool Yellow Rev concept revealed at Tokyo Auto Salon.
Features cosmetic updates over the standard 2024 Swift.
Maruti Suzuki will launch the 2024 Swift later this year.
Ahead of its India debut, the 2024 Swift has once again captured our attention with its new Cool Yellow Rev concept displayed at the Tokyo Auto Salon. We earlier offered you a glimpse of it, and now this particular concept has been revealed in full. The Cool Yellow Rev concept features some visual upgrades over the standard Swift, and here’s everything you need to know about it.

For starters, it is finished in the Cool Yellow Metallic shade, as its name suggests, and a colour that’s offered with the standard car. The primary design feature of this concept is the decals on the side and rear that mainly distinguish it from the standard model. Other elements enhancing the sportiness of the hatchback include the black-finished grille and alloy wheels and a grey-coloured roof.

Suzuki says that these cosmetic enhancements are exclusive to this concept car. Given that these alterations are minor, do not expect significant changes inside the cabin of this concept model. The 2024 Swift boasts a new dashboard design resembling that of the Fronx and Grand Vitara, and you can explore the updated Swift’s cabin and its features in our detailed image gallery over here.

Powering the 2024 Swift is a new 82 PS 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. While the Japanese model is paired with a CVT, the Indian model is expected to be available with both manual and automatic transmissions. Tap here to know how the performance of the new engine differs from the existing four-cylinder unit offered in the current model.

We expect Maruti to launch the 2024 Swift on our shores later this year. Expect it to come with a price premium over the current-gen Swift, that starts from Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to rival hatchbacks like the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Tata Punch.
