It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.8 seconds and delivers a WLTP-claimed range of 590 km. It also supports 270 kW DC fast charging, allowing it to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes, while the standard 11 kW AC charger takes 9 hours for a full charge.
The Taycan RWD carries over the same styling that we saw with the facelift, and can be configured with exclusive paint options and upgraded with 22-inch alloy wheels. With the facelift, the fascia presents a sleeker and more streamlined look, featuring an updated LED headlight setup. A similar story unfolds at the rear, where the Taycan RWD showcases a refreshed design with a slightly revised bumper and an updated signature LED light strip.
Inside, it features an updated dashboard with a triple-screen setup, though the front passenger display is available as an optional add-on. Buyers can also choose from distinct leather and leather-free seat upholstery options for a more personalized cabin theme, while the standard interior comes in an all-black scheme that enhances its sporty appeal.
The Taycan RWD comes equipped with features such as a 16.8-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 10.9-inch touchscreen unit for the front passenger. It also includes 14-way power-adjustable front seats (upgradable to 18-way), seat ventilation, a four-zone climate control system, and ambient lighting. Buyers can further enhance the experience with a 14-speaker Bose sound system or a 21-speaker Burmester audio system.
Safety features include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a reverse parking camera (upgradable to a 360-degree setup), front and rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and ADAS.
The Porsche Taycan RWD continues to lock horns with the Audi e-tron GT and Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan. Let us know your thoughts on the Taycan's new entry-level variant in the comments below.
