Fancy to bring home a black-coloured Maruti? Well, your prayers are answered as Maruti Suzuki has launched ‘Black Edition’ cars for its Nexa lineup as part of carmaker’s 40th anniversary celebrations. All the vehicles in the carmaker’s lineup get this new hue, however, it’s only available in select variants for certain models as illustrated in this table below:

As seen in the above picture, all five models will be finished in a new Pearl Midnight Black hue. However, unlike Tata’s Dark Edition models that get updates that are more than just a black colour, it looks like Maruti’s Black Edition is just limited to the body colour.
As part of its 40th anniversary edition, Maruti will also be offering curated accessory packaged at a special price. Once again, this is limited to only select variants and we suggest you to call your nearest Nexa dealers for further details.

Apart from the introduction of the black body hue, there isn’t any feature or mechanical revisions to any of these models. If you’re interested in having a closer look at all of them, you can click the links below to read our in-depth first drive review:
Meanwhile, the carmaker is also preparing to make a splash at Auto Expo with two important SUV reveals and an electric SUV concept. You can find all details about this here.
