2025 already looks like a promising year for car enthusiasts in India! Ahead of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Lotus has launched two new cars in India, the Emira and the Emeya. The Emira is a two-door sports car and is also Lotus’ last internal combustion-only offering. The Emeya on the other hand, is an all-electric Grand Tourer (GT) that comes with an appealing design, a luxurious cabin and stupendous performance.
Without further ado, here is a detailed look at both these cars:
The Emira is priced from at 3.2 crore (ex-showroom), while the Emeya's prices range at Rs 2.3 crore (ex-showorom).
The Emira is the last of a special kind, the last of Lotus’ petrol-powered sportscars! It is a two-door ICE-powered sportscar and has been introduced in three variants — Emira Turbo, Emira Turbo SE and Emira V6
The Emira in a single word looks spectacular! The design inspiration has been taken from the more potent Evija hypercar. Up front, you get vertically-oriented headlights which come with a twin-blade design. It sports multi-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels that look stunning and complement the sporty design of the Emira. Throughout the silhouette, plenty of contoured scoops and sharp cuts give it a shark look.
The rear end also looks pretty sleek and slick at the same time with stylish horizontal LED tail lights and an aggressively-styled bumper. You get two large exhaust tips that add a nice touch!
The V6 and Turbo variant comes in a standard Vivid Red shade, while the Turbo SE is offered in Zine Grey.
Stepping inside, the cabin has an inviting vibe with the ideal blend of sportiness and premiumness. The interior sports a chunky flat-bottom steering wheel which grabs your attention as you enter the cockpit, along with the trendy large displays. We recommend you opt for the sports seats that can be electrically adjusted in as many as 12 ways!
In terms of features, you get a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10-speaker sound system, rear parking sensors (front optional), ambient lighting, ADAS, and rain-sensing wipers.
