The iconic Sierra nameplate from Tata Motors is back, reintroducing the brand’s recognisable SUV with a modern design language. While its silhouette still nods to the original, the 2025 Sierra adopts a more contemporary approach in both design and cabin layout. In this report, we take a complete 360-degree look at the 2025 Sierra and break down its design, and interior in 7 real-life images:
The new Sierra keeps the tall stance and boxy shape that defined the original model. The front features a wide grille along with slim LED headlamps and a full-width LED DRL that runs across the bonnet line.

From the side profile, its blacked-out rear pillar and square-shaped rear window help it maintain a recognisable look while still appearing updated.
Big wheel arches, flush door handles add a cleaner feel without taking away from the SUV’s tough character.

At the back, the full-width tail-lamp, short rear overhang and raised bumper continue the squared design approach, giving the Sierra its upright appearance.
Inside, the Sierra follows Tata’s latest shift towards a screen-heavy dashboard layout and minimalistic interior.

A triple-screen layout spans across the dashboard, which includes a display for the digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system and another screen positioned ahead of the co-passenger.

The overall layout stays clean, with a dual-tone dashboard, ambient lighting, and a centre console designed to reduce visible clutter. The steering wheel features Tata’s newer design language with an illuminated logo, while the panoramic sunroof adds to the sense of space.
The 2025 Sierra comes equipped with features such as a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 12.3-inch digital driver's display, and a 12.3-inch display for front co-passenger. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, powered and ventilated front-row seats, and digital rear-view mirror.

On the safety front, the 2025 Sierra gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, 360-degree camera system, front and rear parking sensors.
The 2025 Sierra is likely to be offered with two engine options including a brand-new 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine and the familiar 1.5-litre diesel engine from the Curvv and Nexon. Both engines could be paired to a choice of manual and automatic transmissions. Here are the expected specifications of the Sierra:
