If you thought cars were sold on just e-commerce websites, then you might be proved wrong, cause this is now entering the quick commerce space too! If you thought Zepto was just about delivering groceries and gadgets at lightning speed, think again! The quick commerce giant is now shifting gears quite literally. Starting February 8, you will be able to book a test drive of Skoda cars, thanks to a new partnership between the automaker and the platform.
Fast × Fresh. Any guesses on what Zepto and Škoda are cooking up? Stay tuned! 👀🚗✨#SkodaIndia #SkodaIndiaNewEra #LetsExplore pic.twitter.com/tEHyvrhG4R

Zepto, best known for zipping across the city with 10-minute deliveries of essentials, is now shifting gears into the automotive world. Starting February 8, Skoda cars will be available for booking a test drive via Zepto’s platform. What began as a quirky teaser on social media with the dialogue 'Humare paas mixer hai, phone hai, tablet hai, aur ab…' quickly turned into a full-fledged campaign, leaving everyone wondering: Is this for real?

Oh, it’s very real. The brand even rolled out an ad film where a Zepto delivery executive casually strolls into a Skoda showroom, drops an order number, and moments later, drives out with a Kylaq on a flat-bed truck wrapped in Zepto’s gift wrap. Talk about express shipping!
With Zepto changing the way we shop, this partnership with Skoda is set to add another option to the traditional car-buying experience. Imagine skipping the showroom wait, bypassing the endless paperwork, and getting your brand-new ride delivered with the same ease as a pizza, can that be possible?

Of course, this also raises some burning questions: Will the delivery guy come with a ribbon-cutting ceremony? Will there be a “30-minute or it’s free” policy? And most importantly, will they throw in a free matting? Well, we won’t know it!
Zepto’s entry into automotive test drives marks a bold move in an industry that thrives on innovation. While the initial rollout is exclusive to Skoda, this could be the start of a trend that sees more manufacturers hopping on the quick-commerce bandwagon.
One thing’s for sure, if Zepto can pull this off, the days of spending hours at a dealership might soon be a thing of the past. Now, if only they could find a way to deliver fuel in 10 minutes too…
