Elite travellers transiting via Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport will now be chauffeured between their jets and the terminal in a BMW i7 or a Mini Countryman Electric. BMW Group India has partnered with the luxury mobility arm of the Bengaluru airport’s VIP terminal to carry dignitaries, business moguls, and celebrities using these two stunning cars. So, without further ado, let’s meet the cars at the service.
The BMW i7 is the brand’s flagship sedan which we’ve seen in many of our favourite B-town celeb’s garages before. It sports a futuristic design with a bold kidney grille and sleek LED lighting elements.

A spacious, ultra-luxurious cabin with premium leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, a four-zone automatic climate control system, a Bowers and Wilkins sound system, ambient lighting and a 31.3-inch rear theatre screen is sure to offer a private retreat to business leaders and celebrities before they take off in their flight to their next destination.

It also ensures great safety with adaptive cruise control, 7 airbags and ADAS. While the performance won’t really count much in its airport duties the i7 also packs in a heck of it with the standard version putting out a 449 PS electric motor and an impressive claimed range of 603 km. For more thrills, there is the range-topping M70 version, which puts out even more power at 650 PS and packs a WLTP-claimed range of up to 560 km.
Sitting under the BMW umbrella is the sister of Kartik Aaryan’s mom’s favourite car, the Mini Countryman Electric. It brings the British charm with its compact yet rugged design accentuated by its iconic round headlights and a hexagonal grille.

The Mini Countryman Electric’s leatherette upholstery with electrically adjustable front seats and memory function, panoramic sunroof, a Harman Kardon sound system and dual-zone automatic climate control ensures a plush and comfortable ride for the VIPs.

It is powered by a 66.45 kWh battery and a 204 PS front-wheel-drive motor, having a WLTP-claimed range of 462 km meaning it can contribute to zero-emission airport transfers without the need for frequent charging.

Whether it’s Khan or Kapoor heading to a vacation or global film premiere, or Bill Gates or Musk landing on our shores, BMW Group’s VIP mobility through the i7 and the Mini Countryman is sure to ensure posh and greener journeys before they head out from the airport to be papped.
And maybe, even if you’re devoid of this experience now, do you wish to get it someday? We hope the best for you. Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
